Easy–Care Preventative Maintenance Plan

Your Easy-Care Preventative Maintenance Plan covers routine tune-ups carried out on a semi-annual basis for combined heating and cooling systems or annually for heating and cooling alone.

GOLD PLAN A (Heating and Cooling System):

  • Gas and Cooling System – Includes two visits: one in the fall for the heating system and one in the spring for the cooling system. This is for (1) gas heating system and (1) cooling system. If customer has additional systems they will need to add pricing accordingly.
  • Oil and Cooling System –  Includes two visits: one in the fall for the heating system and one in the spring for the cooling system. This is for (1) oil heating system and (1) cooling system. If customer has additional systems they will need to add pricing accordingly.

GOLD PLAN B (Heating System Only):

  • Gas Heating System – This includes one visit in the fall for the heating system per system.
  • Oil Heating System –  This includes on visit in the fall for the heating system per system.

GOLD PLAN C (Cooling System Only):

  • Cooling System – This includes one visit in the spring for the cooling system per system.

GOLD PLAN D (Heat Pump System):

  • Heat Pump System – This includes two visits: one in the fall for the heat pump and one in the spring for the cooling system. If customer has additional systems they will need to add pricing accordingly.

GOLD PLAN E (Hydro or Hybrid Heating System):

  • Gas Hydro/Hybrid Heating System – This includes one visit in the fall for the gas hydro/hybrid heating system.
  • Oil Hydro/Hybrid Heating System – This includes one visit in the fall for the oil gas hydro/hybrid heating system.

Air Conditioning Checklist:

  • Check thermostat operation
  • Inspect electrical contractor for wear and tear
  • Test condenser/HP capacitors
  • Clear drain lines
  • Clean dirt and debris from inside the cabinet on the outdoor unit
  • Test condenser/HP amps and volts
  • Inspect condenser coil
  • Check all electrical connections on indoor and outdoor unit
  • Replace standard 1" air filter (additional for non–standard filters)
  • Check and inspect condensate pump
  • Clean and inspect blower motor and blower compartment
  • Check superheat and sub–cooling to determine accurate refrigerant/cooling levels
  • Check temperature of the return and supply air
  • Visually inspect ductwork
  • Inspect refrigerant piping insulation

Heating Checklist:

  • Inspect safety controls and safety switches
  • Clean pilot assembly
  • Clean safety flame sensor
  • Inspect heat exchanger
  • Inspect flue/exhaust pipe
  • Clean and inspect blower motor and blower compartment
  • Test blower motor capacitors
  • Test blower motor amps and volts
  • Lubricate motors
  • Check the belt and adjust tension if needed
  • Inspect inducer motor and inducer housing
  • Check and inspect the condensate pump
  • Inspect ignition system
  • Inspect for gas leaks
  • Inspect burner tubes
  • Check thermostat operation
  • Replace standard 1" air filter (additional for non–standard filters)
  • Visually inspect ductwork
  • Check all electrical connections
  • Inspect heat exchanger
  • Check thermocouple
  • Check CO detector operation
  • Combustion analysis test
  • Check defrost cycle (heat pump only)

Oil Heating System Checklist:

  • Check thermocouple
  • Check and replace nozzle
  • Check and replace gasket
  • Replace oil filter
  • Brush and rod boiler
  • Test oil pump pressure for accuracy of operation
  • Inspect oil components for leaks
  • Primary control safety check
